VSAT Satellite
Ocean Media installs and services Cisco digital IP-based phone systems. These systems are chosen for their ease of use, reliability and extensive functionality. The latest systems are equipped with color touchscreen's and VOIP wireless technology. Cisco phone systems can be integrated with the iPhone so the owner can make outbound calls through the their iPhone directly through the VSAT connection. Inbound calls to the vessel can also be transferred directly to the iPhone too.
CISCO Phones
Ocean Media installs and services Panasonic digital IP-based phone systems and legacy systems. Many yachts have Panasonic's older phone systems with handsets that are built into the walls and cabinetry. Those with Cisco’s Legacy Systems, you have the option to upgrade to wireless phones and still use the original fixed handsets as backup. There are many options including DECT wireless handsets and color IP phones.
